The Medical Education Department supports programs on behalf of Alcon’s Marketing & Sales strategic goals and initiatives. This is accomplished by offering comprehensive, high quality, current and practical information on the surgical and therapeutic management of ophthalmic disease to practicing eye care professionals; as well as ototopical therapies to healthcare professionals. Educational opportunities are offered in the form of lectures, symposia, grand rounds, teleconferences, live surgeries, workshops, on-line education and wet labs that are intended to improve patient care and foster lifelong learning of eye care providers.
